Harpur Hill - The Sanctuary

From below the right-hand end of Cairn Sector (Breakfast at Safeways etc.) drop down below the concrete posts and turn left to reach this very pleasant face. Towards its left-hand side are four relatively short routes.

1. By Caesarian (5), 2. New Arrivals (6a), 3. Expecting (5) 4. Induction Program(5) 6. Premature (6a)

6. Safe Haven (5) easier of two left-hand lines

7. The Hollow Man (5) direct line with hollow flake.

8. Christian Salvage Man (6a) * pleasant face, named after local security man!

9. Which Depp-Artment (6a) via bulge and then rightwards to belay.

10. Ichabod (5+) awkward finishing bulge.

11. Sleepy Hollow (6a) * fine climbing via faint rib.

12. Bonny Helena (5) squeezed in but good just to the right

13. Gone for a Tim Burton (5) just left of obvious flake/corner.

14. The Height Below (5) wall via brown streak.

15. The Sanctuarian (6c) hard through overlap with tricky wall below.

16. For Haven's Sake (6b) * right side of overlap.

17. Downtown (6b) * excellent shallow groove. Slightly bold.

18. What Lies Beneath (6b) * tricky wall to finish.

19. Haven or Hell (6a+) pillar at right-hand end of wall.
