Character:

Compact Walls, Impact Walls and Suspect Walls are simply that, an area of excellent compact grey limestone with a handful of excellent technical face climbs. It ease of access (10 mins walk) and style of climbing make it a very welcome addition to the areas climbing.

Approaches:

Locate the parking place directly below Trevor Rocks Quarry, just up from the T junction. From here scramble up the grassy back to locate a flat track, an old quarry-way. Follow this westwards until a line of quarried cliffs is located. Continue below these for about 300m until the cliff is plainly obvious.

Please not there is a voluntary bird ban on the Fudd and DM Sectors due to nesting Pergegrine Flacons. This lasts from 1st March to 30th June
